U-Value vs R-Value? Solar Heat Gain vs Visible Light Transmittance?

Exterior and interior reflectivity vs Color Shifting? Green Glass? I give classes on everything to do with hurricane glazing and help architects and builders select, specify, and detail luxury windows and doors without dealer or manufacturer biases.

R-Value and R-Value are mathematical reciprocals. To convert U-Value to R-Value simply divide 1 by the U-Value.

"Spectrally selective" Low-E coatings can reflect more green as they block Infrared but using low iron or grey glass will reduce the green.

Having the Low-E coating on side 2 vs side 3 will significantly affect the reflectivity, energy performance, and color appearance inside vs outside.
