Proper Bucking

More BAD INSTALLS: Correct bucking installation is critical to a good window installation. They have to be properly structurally anchored, properly caulked and waterproofed, perfectly plumb, and at the correct reveal for the frames.

I see bad practices here far too often, the worst case is having the framing subcontractor install the bucks. They do NOT know the proper method to waterproof and structurally anchor the windows and doors. And very often the bucks are there to correct for an out of plumb or square masonry opening.
