Is your door 11' or 11' 2"?
Where is the 11' 2" measured from, slab to beam? This isn't 1990's architecture where the dealer just adds for bucking to give the builder an MO, EVERYTHING on modern architecture is driven by the structurals and you generally aren't going to change the size and location of your beams without major planning.
Is this really the window dealer's expertise to coordinate floor plans with elevations with window schedule with structurals? 9 out of 10 dealers are just quoting based off the window schedule, which in my experience is the usually the least accurate.
You may hit specific manufacturer sizing limitations at 120" or 130" or 132" product approval limitations that affect your overall planning and cost.
I help builders select and detail windows and doors without manufacturer and dealer biases. I help coordinate sizing and planning for sizing and installation details based on the unique design requirements of your project from floor and ceiling transitions to stone and wood wall cladding and complex pockets.
