Complex Window Layouts
Two story stacked windows are the most complex to plan for because there are so many interrelated structural beam dimensions that can't change. The sizing is firmly dictated by the structural plans and the window schedule is just a rough guide.
Another critical factor is slab to beam variations which are often over 3/4" and anywhere there is stone cladding requiring 2x bucks.
Window companies are going by your window and door schedule and it's up to the GC to ensure their dimensions match what the structural plan calls for. As a rule the window schedule is the least accurate match to floor plans, elevations, and structural plans.
